ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has revealed the discovery of new reserves of oil and gas in the country.
However, these new discoveries of the oil and gas reserves have been made in the district Kohat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
It is told by the authorities that the nine mmcfd gas and 125 barrels of the oil can be extracted on a regular basis from the first or well number one i.e. Togh Bala. It is revealed by the administrative unit of the district Kohat.
On the other hand, the officials of the OGDCL said that it is the second consecutive exploration in the Kohat block that went successful.
It is also estimated by the experts that the new discovery would definitely assist the country in saving foreign reserves to a large extent. So, it would improve the oil and gas reserves of the OGDCL.
However, in the month of July, the OGDCL claimed that it has discovered five new reserves in Pakistan.
