ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan said that he is not going to issue National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to the opposition; however, it would have a grave effect over the trust of the nation. He said it once the senate rejected the Anti-Money Laundering Bill.
While talking on Twitter, Imran Khan said that the opposition has defeated two crucial FATF-related bills i.e. Anti Money Laundering and ICT Waqf Bills.
Today in Senate the opposition defeated 2 critical FATF-related bills: Anti Money Laundering & ICT Waqf bills. From day one I have maintained that the self-serving interests of the opposition leaders & the country's interests are divergent. As accountability noose has tightened,

Apart from this, he also said that from the very first day he had maintained the self-serving interests of the opposition and the diverged interests of the country.
Apart from this, he said that the opposition leaders have become somehow desperate to save their money that counts in the corrupt manners. So, they are preventing the parliament from its function. However, they are also undermining the effective strategy of Covid-19. Therefore, PM Khan said that he is not going to give NRO in his government.
