No one has the courage to demand my resignation: Imran Khan
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said during an interview No one has the courage to demand my resignation.
PM said Army is standing behind a democratically elected government. “I am the elected PM of the country, No one has the courage to demand my resignation,” Imran Khan said
“I will leave the government but I will never give them NRO,” Prime Minister was giving an interview to a private channel. He said, “Nawaz Sharif is playing a dangerous game, Altaf Hussain also did the same,”. He further added that he is “100 percent” sure that India is helping Nawaz. “Who would like to see our army getting weak? our enemies,” Imran said.
Prime Minister said Pakistan Army has learned from past mistakes, we cannot blame the entire army for the mistake of one Army Chief. If Kargil had happened during his time, he would have called the COAS in his office and sack him right there. Unlike Nawaz who was so afraid that he sacked Musharaf when he was out of the country.
Imran said “I am not such a coward, these people only come to the country to make money, they do not have any moral power to run the government. Nawaz wanted to become Amir al-Momineen and control all institutions. They lack vision and political mindset. Leadership in a democracy is accountable but they do not want to answer.”
PM also praised Pakistan’s secret agencies and said they are world-class agencies.
