ISLAMABAD: Ghulam Sarwar, the Federal Minister for the Aviation, went on a visit to Islamabad Airport on Monday, and he examined the damage due to rainfall at the airport.
However, he went to visit the airport when the false ceiling was collapsed, and its video went viral. However, he raised the question on the quality of the construction, which was carried out in the recent past for the capital airport.
It seems the project director and airport manager expressed displeasure, so he asked for the report of the damage due to rainfall. Similarly, he asked why the water drip every time it rains, and he wondered why the sub-standard material was used in this project.
However, Hassan Nasir, the Director-General of Civil Aviation Authority, has briefed the damage caused due to rainfall.
