LAHORE: The accountability court has resumed the hearing of money laundering and assets beyond means case against Shehbaz Sharif, the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly.
Jawadul Hassan, the judge heard the case once the president of PML-N appeared before the court. However, the judge asked from the government lawyer where Shehbaz Sharif was? He gave the response and said that he would appear before the court in a short while.
On the other hand, Shehbaz Sharif said to the judge that he had not been involved in the single penny’s corruption. Similarly, he said that he had served twelve and a half years to masses, but he never received TA and DA of a single penny.
Moreover, he also said that he swears to God that he had saved billions of rupees. However, the judge replied to the Shehbaz that he would be acquitted if he was found not guilty.
