KARACHI: Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, the Information Minister of Sindh, said that the state would reconstruct the infrastructure of the Karachi after record downpours that ruined the ordinary life of the region.
He also said that the provincial government would compensate for the damages incurred by the city’s heavy rains.
Similarly, he said that the provincial government is standing with flood-affected Sindh residents, and would not leave them alone in such hard moments.
He further said the government would declare the infrastructure packages for Sindh’s downpour-affected cities and evaluate the damage caused by flooding and rainfall.
It is important to note here since the three days after the period of heavy downpours, which triggered urban floods in many areas adjacent to drainage channels, Karachiites continued to endure the miseries of stagnant waters, blocked sewerage lines, and long hours power cuts.
