Islamabad: Ashraf Ghani, the president of Afghanistan made a telephone call for extending Eid greetings to Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
During call both the leaders discussed their roles such as Imran Khan highlighted his in primative role in Afghan peace process. Similarly, he also stressed over the bilateral relation between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
On the other hand, Imran Khan said that Pakistan is looking forward for the next session of Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity at the earliest.
Imran Khan also expressed his hope for the implementation of US Taliban Peace Agreement.
On the other hand, he also expressed the grief for the loss of previous lives due to COVID-19 in Afghanistan. Similarly, he said that country would soon cope pandemic soon.
