Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan Tarek Mohamed Hussein Dahroug has said that his country is keen to enhance bilateral trade relations with Pakistan further. The two countries have great potential to boost bilateral trade in various fields.
Addressing the business community at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce, Egyptian Ambassador Tarek Mohamed Hussein Dahroug said that he was committed to further improving trade relations between Egypt and Pakistan and was ready to make all possible efforts for this purpose. It will be beneficial for both countries’ economies.
He said that by increasing trade cooperation with Egypt, Pakistan could gain better access to the markets of African countries, including Libya, Morocco, Sudan, and Algeria, adding that Pakistan and Egypt should focus on promoting direct exports, which would be more beneficial for both. He said that an agreement for Pak-Egypt Business Council was signed a long time ago, but no further progress could be made, so both the countries should make concerted efforts to achieve meaningful results.
