ISLAMABAD: Shafqat Mahmood, the Minister of Education has suggested reopening educational institutions throughout the country, and he has clarified that the federal government’s top priority will be children’s health.
Shafqat Mahmood said the federal authorities would study the coronavirus pandemic situation while talking in ‘Sawal Yeh Hai.’ Education ministers from all provinces will attend a meeting scheduled for September 7 to take a final decision on the resumption of academic sessions.
On the other hand, he said that he proposed dividing classes into two parts [as a precautionary measure against COVID-19] so that academic sessions would begin. The classes should be continued into separate batches of students. But the condition of COVID-19 cases after the Muharram month’s end.
Similarly, The government is well aware of the students academic loss but our top priority is children health. The authorities are making plans to reopen universities at the appropriate time.
