Islamabad: The world is praising Pakistan’s strategy to fight COVID-19. The world should learn from Pakistan, says WHO Chief.
The numbers of COVID-19 patients are rapidly dropping in Pakistan. Pakistan’s successful handling of the pandemic has earned them praise and respect from all over the world. Even the WHO chief is urging that The World should learn from Pakistan.
WHO Chief praised Pakistan’s strategy and deployment of infrastructure against the virus. Community health workers played a critical role.
WHO chief added, “They have been utilized for surveillance, contact tracing, and care and the result we see a significant drop in the number of coronavirus cases”.
WHO chief also mentioned other countries that are handling the crisis well. “Many of these countries have done well because they learned lessons from previous outbreaks of SARS, MERS, measles, polio, Ebola, flu and other diseases,”.
