LAHORE: An investigation report by the Endowment Department has revealed that actresses Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed danced in the Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore in violation of the permit. The endowment department has banned the recording of films and dramas at all mosques and shrines across the province after the actors’ dance was filmed at the Wazir Khan Mosque.
Now, the investigation report has revealed that actresses Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed have danced in violation of the permit. Meanwhile, the Deputy Director, Finance, Endowment Department, in its investigation report, also confirmed the illegal dance by the actors.
According to Dr. Tahir Raza Bukhari, DG Punjab Endowment Department, action has been initiated against the PEDA Act by suspending three officials, including the manager in charge of dance in Wazir Khan Mosque. But the bride and groom will not be able to do a photoshoot.
It may be recalled that a video of a song from the album of actress Saba Qamar and actor Bilal Saeed went viral on social media recently in which both the artists were present at the Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore. A case has also been registered against them under section 295 at Akbari Gate police station.
It should also be noted that later both the artiest apologies from the whole nation through the video message and Bilal Saeed also said that he cut the scenes of the dancing video in Wazir khan mosque from his QUBOOL HAI.
